Pro FAQ Privacy Policy

Pro FAQ is a Wix app that lets a site owner publish FAQ sections on their Wix site. This policy explains what the app stores and why.

What the app stores

FAQ content (questions, answers, categories, FAQ names) is stored in the site's own Wix CMS collections created by the app, on Wix infrastructure. It stays under the site owner's control and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

For each question the app keeps simple counters: how many times it was opened and how many "helpful" votes it received. These counters are not linked to any visitor.

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personal information about site visitors. It sets no cookies of its own and uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Site owner information

To operate inside Wix, the app receives the site's Wix app instance details (site id, installed plan). Wix's own privacy policy governs Wix account data.

Data security and location

All data is processed and stored by Wix-hosted services. The app's backend runs on Wix hosting and only reads or writes the collections it created.

Data deletion

Uninstalling the app removes its collections from the site. To request deletion of anything else, contact us at the support email shown on the App Market listing.

If this policy changes, the date above is updated and the current version is always at this address.
